- Stall side imaging of the horse’s chest to evaluate the pleural cavity and lung surface
- Useful to evaluate infectious respiratory diseases (such as pneumonia, pleuritis, pulmonary abscesses) or non-infectious respiratory disease like equine asthma
- Allows a point of care tracking of therapeutic progress for pneumonia and other infectious respiratory disease
Abdominal Ultrasound
- Stall side imaging that provides extensive evaluation of the GI tract and intra-abdominal organs such as the kidneys, spleen and liver
- Used to evaluate horses with signs of colic, diarrhea, weight loss, failure to thrive, peritonitis or suspected intra-abdominal abscesses
- Diagnostic imaging used to assess suspected liver or urinary/renal disease
